What are the next steps?

In mid-January 2019, the City Council issued approval of Linder Village with conditions. As we prepare for the construction phase, WinCo will be finalizing building elevations and traffic calming measures in the surrounding neighborhood.

What is the current project timeline?

The current timeline includes finalizing the design in 2019 and construction in 2020 to begin opening locations in 2021.

Who are the tenants committed to Linder Village?

WinCo Foods will be the anchor supermarket at Linder Village. Please stay tuned for future announcements!

Will there be a Library branch located at Linder Village?

The Meridian Library District has expressed interest in opening a new 15,000 SF library branch that would occupy space planned for civic use at Linder Village. Conversations are under way, and the library district is considering putting the plan out for a vote on a plant facility levy this year.

When are roadway improvements scheduled to take place?

As part of this development project, Chinden Boulevard is planned to be widened to five lanes from North Linder Road to North Meridian Road in 2020 and then to North Locust Grove Road in 2021. ACHD plans to widen Linder Road from Cayuse Creek — less than a mile south of this site — north to Chinden Boulevard this year.

When will I be able to live at Linder Village?

Plans for Linder Village include a pocket neighborhood of high quality single-family detached dwellings adjacent to the neighboring single-family homes and detached or attached dwellings on the remainder of the property. The specific residential subdivision layout, design and materials will be processed separately as another phase of the Linder Village proposal, subject to the City’s application and design review process.
